Capital Ski Club is a non-profit ski club founded in 1981. The club is comprised of skiers and snowboarders from the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Since our founding, we have been members of the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS), Inc.  Eastern Region.

Typically, Capital Ski operates throughout the year with activities for members, families, and friends. We conduct learn to ski/snowboard trips as well as other adventures. We also participate at the NBS Summits and Eastern Region Winterfests and Summerfests.

We have our annual picnic on the 2nd Saturday of July. Our only fundraiser is our annual 'Evening in White'  affair which supports our youth program and other endeavors.

Over the years our members have won numerous racing awards from the beginner racing  to the elite racing categories. We are also proud to mention that in 2004, we won the small club race trophy for the 7th consecutive year at the 2004 NBS Eastern Region Winterfest. We also continue to bring home club awards/honors from the NBS Summits and Eastern Region Winterfests.
